What do I need for the use of vtiger CRM?
- vtiger CRM can be installed under Windows or Linux / Unix, thus also external projects can be realized with vtiger CRM.
- For the installation a LAMP- or WAMP-Package with integrated Apache and MySQL are needed, but also the Microsoft® IIS can be used to publish on the Internet.
- MySQL databases are supported by standard. On request other databases such as Oracle can be used as well.
- Installation possible on all standard distributions: Suse, RedHat, Debian, Mandrake, Fedora. Windows installation requires either Windows 2000 / 2003 / XP. Not supported Windows 95/98/ME.
- Microsoft Windows Vista® integration is planned for the second quarter 2007.
- The Outlook® plug-in requires Microsoft Outlook® 2000 / 2003 and Microsoft Internet Explorer® 6.0.
